Twigs, Buds and Blooms – St. Martinville

Join our favorite tree guy, Jim Foret, for an afternoon walk at Cade Farm, UL Lafayette’s experimental farm. We’ll celebrate Arbor Day with a casual stroll through the mature woods to learn about tree ID in winter using twigs, bark and buds. Jim retired recently from UL Lafayette’s School of Geosciences, where he taught native plant and plant science classes. Meet at 2pm at the Welcome Center parking lot (building is closed).
