About this event

Our Keynote speaker is Blake Cothron who owns and operates Peaceful Heritage Nursery LLC, a specialty naturally-grown nursery that specializes in Pawpaws, figs, and mulberries. He has over 25 years experience in horticulture and organic farming and is the author of Pawpaws and The Berry Grower. He lives in Stanford, KY. Retired LSU Ag. center agent Charlie Overstreet will speak about his experiences growing and grafting and eating Pawpaws in Baton Rouge. Lastly, Michael Smith a Pawpaw grower from Gainesville Florida will speak about Pawpaw biodiversity and endemic Pawpaw species in Florida.
