Spring and Summer Wildflowers of the Caney Ranger District

Photo-intensive talk by John Michael Kelly, botanist/naturalist. Listeners will learn why, how, and where to find wildflowers on public land in Claiborne and Webster parishes, and they will be introduced briefly to two dozen species blooming in the first half of the year, pressed museum specimens of plants, and informative books will be available to investigate after the talks.
Bring any unknown wildflowers for John Michael to identify! Refreshments will be served.
